Why Shower Silicone Needs Replacing
Silicone seals around the base of your shower, between tiles, and around shower screens break down over time. Mould grows in the cracks, and water starts leaking behind the tiles or under the shower base.
Replacing the silicone stops the leak and prevents further damage. We remove all the old silicone, clean the surface properly, and apply fresh silicone that seals the gaps and lasts for years.

Our Process
How We Replace Shower Silicone

Remove old silicone
We cut out all the old silicone and scrape the joints clean. Any mould or soap scum is removed completely.

Clean and dry the surface
The surface is cleaned with the right products and left to dry. Silicone will not stick to a dirty or wet surface.
- 03
Apply fresh silicone
We apply new silicone to all the joints and smooth it into place. The seal is neat and watertight.
- 04
Let it cure
The silicone needs time to cure before the shower can be used. We let you know when it is safe to use the shower again.

Silicone Replacement or Full Reseal?
If only the silicone is damaged, we can replace just the silicone seals. If the grout is also cracked or missing, we recommend shower resealing, which includes regrouting and silicone replacement together. We will inspect the shower and let you know what is needed.
